The Village of Westchester recognizes the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The instruction of non-Fire Department personnel increases both awareness and readiness within the community, all of which plays a vital role in the chain of survival for heart attack victims.

The Westchester Fire Department’s CPR certification program teachs residents how to effectively deliver CPR and how to correctly use an AED in accordance with current American Heart Association guidelines.
