The Westchester Police Department is comprised of the following: 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief of Adminstration, 1 Deputy Chief of Patrol, 1 Administrative Sergeant, 6 Patrol Sergeants, 2 Detectives, 1 School Resource Officer, 17 Patrol Officers, 2 Community Service Officers, and 2 Records Clerks. Our agency participates in three multi-jurisdictional task forces which includes: 1) West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force called WESTAF, which provides expertise and resources to investigate serious crimes and serious traffic accidents. 2) Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System called ILEAS to meet the needs of local law enforcement throughout the State of Illinois in matters of mutual aid, emergency response and combining of resources. 3) Federal Bureau of Investigation Drug Task force Unit.
